IPO at the 27th European Police Congress in Berlin 2024
From April 15 to 17, 2024, the International Police Organization (IPO) participated in the 27th European Police Congress in Berlin – represented by an international delegation led by Prof. Ilija Zivotic (Founder & Honorary President) and Dr. Mareglen Tomori (Executive President).
As an Official Partner of the congress, the IPO presented itself at its own stand, located right next to that of the German Police.
The European Police Congress is considered the largest internal security conference in the EU. Its goal is to facilitate exchange between police, security agencies, politics, and industry, as well as networking on a European level.
Highlights of the IPO’s participation
- Discussions with the EU Counter-Terrorism Coordinator, representatives of the Ukrainian Ministry of Internal Affairs, and leaders of the European Police Federation.
- Exchanges with high-ranking representatives of the Albanian State Police and diplomatic representatives of Albania in Germany.
- Meeting with IPA Germany to initiate future cooperation and joint projects.
During the two days of the congress, the IPO held numerous discussions with leaders of European security agencies and international organizations – aiming to deepen existing partnerships and launch new projects.
