In line with the motto of the International Police Organization (IPO)
“Contributing Together – for a Safe Community, for a Safe Tomorrow”,
the IPO Headquarters organized the 3rd International Congress in Tirana, Albania,
from 21 to 22 June 2024, with worldwide participation from IPO members, section leaders,
law enforcement agencies, and professionals from the public and private security sectors at the international level.
The congress represents a significant and urgently needed innovation,
bringing together all IPO section leaders and members – for mutual acquaintance, the exchange of ideas and experiences, and the presentation of the IPO’s program and guidelines for the coming years.
This year’s International IPO Congress focuses on the topics of
transnational organized crime and counter-terrorism.
Representatives from over 30 different countries worldwide – primarily from Europe and the Balkan region – are expected, including government institutions, diplomatic representatives, senior law enforcement officials, as well as experts from the public and private sectors who will contribute their expertise.
