IPO Section Germany represented on site
From **27 to 28 November 2024**, the **IPO Section Germany** was present as the official representation of the International Police Organization at the **Berlin Security Conference (BSC)** – one of Europe’s leading security policy forums.
The BSC 2024 was held under the motto:
**“Europe and NATO – Enhancing Security and Defence”**
and brought together high-ranking representatives from the military, politics, international organisations, and the security sector.
Our participation was part of the IPO’s international commitment to promoting security policy dialogue and cross-border cooperation.
On site, we held intensive discussions with expert delegations from EU and NATO member states, as well as with civil society partner organisations.
Focus areas of our exchange:
- European security architecture in transition
- Challenges posed by hybrid threats
- Role of civil society actors in security strategy
- Promoting trust and cooperation between government, business, and the public
The IPO Section Germany used the conference to further expand its network, initiate new partnerships, and underscore the relevance of civil society security initiatives in the international context.
A strong signal for a connected security culture – in Germany, Europe, and beyond.
